Description

The Super Record Fluted seatpost is one of the most beautiful and classic posts.  This one is a 3rd gen which was produced roughly 1978-1982 (and probably sold for a few years later).  It's identified as 3rd gen by it's polished upper tapered area that's stamped Brev. Inter Campagnolo, and by it's polished/anodized clamp. 

Condition

Excellent to near mint lightly used shape.  It's nicer in person than in photos.  No real insertion marks anywhere.  Above the insertion line is very clean, with only some quite minor pinpoint type marks here and there.  Below the line has some light general finish wear, but no zig zag insertion marks.  Clamp and bolt are in excellent shape.  Good enough for many show bikes or Sunday best bicycles.
