Campagnolo Super Record 11s Outer Chainring: 50t Compact - X.P.S.S. (NEW)

Campagnolo's 2011-2014 eleven-speed chainrings use a mounting system that differs from both earlier and later generations. The outer ring mounts with four standard chainring bolts plus one hidden bolt that threads into the back of the crank arm. The four standard bolts pass through the outer ring and spider, then thread directly into the inner chainring rather than using separate nuts. This means your inner ring needs four threaded holes for proper installation. When you remove the old ring, back out the four visible bolts first, then remove the hidden bolt last. The aluminum spacer between the rings maintains the correct gap for the chain to travel between positions without binding or hesitation. Keep track of that spacer during the swap because Campagnolo doesn't sell it separately.

The ring uses Campagnolo's X.P.S.S. tooth profiling system with eight pins positioned around the circumference. These pins catch the chain plates during upshifts and guide the chain smoothly onto the larger ring. The tooth profile works specifically with eleven-speed Campagnolo chains and matches the pitch and roller width. Campagnolo's AFT anti-friction treatment gives the ring a matte grey finish that reduces friction during shifts while protecting the aluminum alloy from corrosion and abrasion. The fifty-tooth count pairs with thirty-four tooth inner rings for compact gearing and uses 110mm bolt circle diameter. This measurement is specific to Campagnolo compact rings and won't fit other manufacturers' 110mm BCD cranksets due to proprietary pin positioning.

This ring fits 2011-2014 Campagnolo Record, Super Record, and Chorus cranksets. The 2009-2010 rings won't work despite sharing the same BCD because the mounting interface changed.
