Description

Produced from 1971 to 1985, the Record Superleggeri (SL) pedals were between Nuovo Record and Super Record on the hierarchy.   The N/R pedals had silver steel cages.  The SL pedals had the lighter black anodized cages, but still the durable steel spindle.  The Super Record pedals added titanium spindles, which were prone to breaking.  These are often passed off for SR pedals.  Don't be fooled, they're not Super Record unless a magnet won't stick to the spindle!  

Condition:

Near mint to mint, barely used condition!  They're just lovely.  The only real wear is the dust caps are chewed up some.  Bearings are beyond buttery smooth and feel as new.  Hardly a mark anywhere. Cage plates are practically perfect, just a couple very light scratches. No toe clip wear.  Cage top edges where shoes contact are perfect!  There is one spot of ano wear on the right pedal's tail tip. Perfect for any show bike, if you replace the dust caps.
