I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This was the first 8 speed Record rear derailleur, after the C-Record group was discontinued. The first gen post-C-Record "Record" rear derailleur was released in 1992 as the RD-01RE and in 1993 as the RD-11RE with minimal changes. This RD-31RE was released in ~1995. It was the first with the model name on the faceplate and the last 8 speed Record RD before they moved to the Record Titanium 9 speed.
Condition
Great used shape with a touch of road rash. Pulleys are buttery smooth, pivots/springs tight and smooth. Jockey wheels show very little use. This one is in a lot better mechanical condition than it's scratches would indicate.
Details
- 8 Speed (compatible with 6, 7, and 9 speed in friction mode)
- Silver

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
