I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Description
Description
This is a 1st generation Rally long cage derailleur, of the 2nd type which has a reinforced hanger neck to address the cracking issues the 1975 Rally RD had. A favorite of touring cyclists who run a triple crank, as it's the prettiest and most reliable long cage rear derailleur of the classic era. They were produced from 1975-1982.
Condition
Great used condition. Pulleys are super smooth, pivots and springs are tight and smooth. Some light scrapes on the lower knuckles and barely on the upper pivot bolt. very nice otherwise.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
