Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This classic hubset has had it's rear hub re-spaced to 130mm.  This means it will fit into modern road frames!! Or, you could space it back to 120mm or 126mm if you like.

High flange NR/SR hubs are the gold standard for classic road bicycle restorations from the 1960's to late 1980's.  They are drop dead gorgeous, last forever, spin like butter, and add another level of prestige to your bike!  The Record level hubs have replaceable cups and nicer axles/cones than the similar but inferior Gran Sport and Tipo hub.

Condition

Excellent used condition.  Bearings are buttery smooth and well adjusted.  Skewers are near mint with barely a mark.  Hub shells only have a few light marks.  Only minor spoke hole wear.  Oil port clips look excellent.  Both have a lovely polish.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
