Description
Description
High flange NR/SR hubs are the gold standard training and racing hubs for classic road bicycles from the 1960's to late 1980's. They are great looking, last forever, spin like butter, and save you a bunch of cash over their more prestigious sibling in high flange getup! The Record level hubs have replaceable cups and nicer axles/cones than the similar but inferior Gran Sport and Tipo hub.
This time capsule hubs are part of the Nuovo Record Strada gruppo, and was often issued with the Super Record gruppo. True Super Record hubs ONLY difference is they have 6/4V titanium axles (made by O.M.A.S.), and are exceedingly scarce.
126mm rear spacing, with curved blade quick releases. Post-CSPS, made from 1978-1987. This is a 32 hole pair.
Condition
Built but largely NOS take-offs. They were ridden around the neighborhood to test ride, and cut out of the wheel shortly later. Hubs are close pristine, aside from the faintest spoke hole marks, a light scratch on the rear hub's center shell from moving the oil clip, and some dried factory grease in the flange cutouts. Bearings spin buttery smooth and perfectly adjusted. It has a fresh injection of grease and is good to go for a long time.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
