Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This is a rare 1950's GS single sided shifter with the ubiquitous Open C logo.  Attached is a catalog scan from Catalog #13.  All original and correct hardware!  The lever blade has a slight curve to it, near the clamp end (sometimes this was done by the factory, sometimes it was done by an end user to fit their hand better).

Condition

Near mint shape!  Shift action is smooth, hardware is clean.  Some light patina here and there.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
