Description

If you wanted a top performing Campy equipped racing bicycle in the early 1990's, you chose Monoplanar brakes.  They were the first major step into the era of powerful brakes for Campagnolo, as their Delta brakes were merely "slowers".  These were on par with later dual pivot brakes for power and modulation, and undeniably gorgeous.  The right caliper arm actually pivots through a slot in the left arm!  This was the top of the line Monoplanar brake ever made, as Record at the time was always the beautiful but flawed Delta brakes.

Condition

Near mint very lightly used condition.  Original brake pads show almost no use.  Finish is superbe, with only a few very tiny marks.  Hardware and rubber pieces in awesome shape.  Perfect for a show bike or display cabinet!
