Item Condition
Item Condition
I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Awesome aero seatpost from the late 1980's or early 1990's. This is a first gen, which ran from 1987 to 1991 or 1992. 2nd gen versions had an engraved band just below the aero portion.
Condition:
Very lightly used with low miles. From the clamp to about an inch below the beginning of the aero section is very close to mint without a mark worth noting. There is heavy insertion marks on both front and back sides of the shaft up until 1" below the aero section, though the sides below here are clean. Show worthy as long as you don't need more than an inch below the aero part showing.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
