Description

This 2nd gen FD was made from late 1984 to 1991.  It is easily identified as 2nd gen by the flat cage plates (1992+ 3rd gen FD had a bent inner plate for better indexed shifting), and diagonal linking plates on the side (1st gen had horizontal plates).  This clamp on version was model A022, it's braze-on sister was A021.

Condition

Mint or very close to it with low miles.  The only real wear to note is inner cage plate chain rub, plus a couple LIGHT scratches on the back of the clamp plate that's only visible in certain angles/lights.  Parallelogram, hardware, outer cage plate are perfect. Show bike worthy.
