Item Condition
Item Condition
I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This is a 1st gen C-Record friction downtube shifter set. They were issued from 1983 to 1985, and in 1986 they started making retrofriction and then Syncro indexed shifters.
Condition
Overall excellent or better lightly used shape. Screws and screw cover plate are just about mint. Finish is mostly mint. The only wear to note is the right shifter has a tiny scuff on the outside facing edge and it's rim around the cover plate is just barely out of true in one spot (though no where near enough to rub the cover plate or impact shifting).

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
