Description

This cool wheelset was custom built by a bicycle industry lifer for her early Merlin (now my Merlin!  To be posted soon).  She wanted the strongest wheelset possible while retaining a low weight.  So, she spec'd top level mountain bike hubs (re-spaced to 130mm), and laced them to some Matrix Aurora box section rims.  These rims are fairly similar to Mavic Open Pro, and considered stronger by many.  

Condition

Excellent lightly used shape!  Both wheels are true as can be.  Bearings buttery smooth with zero play.  Rims shows only very minor brake track wear.  Hubs have practically no marks.  Spokes in excellent shape. Overall, a super solid wheelset that will last you years with proper care.
