Description

Awesome set of tubless 29er wheels!  These were used for only a short season by myself on my Giant Anthem (now replaced by a Niner Rip 9 RDO!).  I loved these wheels.  Killer looks, super stiff, lightweight at only 1700g, and they stay true!  Tires are very easy to mount on these rims, and they are easy to set up tubeless.  AC wisely placed a red spoke at either side of the valve hole.  The freehub sound is killer.  It's quiet, deep, and sensual.  If a Chris King hub is a Ferarri engine at wide open throttle, this one is a Corvette engine at 2k RPM.  They retail for $850, and are worth every penny.  

This pair comes with a QR15 front hub and 135mm rear hub, but the axles are convertible.  Adapters for 142mm rear, and standard 9mm quick release front are available from American Classic.

The All Mountain Tubeless Disc wheelset is the stronger, workhorse version of our proven cross country tubeless wheels in 26, 29 and new 650B. Bill Shook applied his signature tubeless design to our tougher, roll over everything All Mountains. All Mountain rims are super wide at 28mm wide x 23mm deep to stiffen the tire and wheel-ground response and to handle the extra duty of free riding. They withstand the tortures of high speeds, re-accelerating, drops and downhills without compromising nimble handling. Light enough for accelerating, quick handling and firm control. Our stiff front axle systems resist fork flex. Bead barb technology hooks on the tire bead to help keep the tire in place without burping.

Condition

Excellent lightly used shape.  Rims are true, and have NO cracks, dents, hops, or other damage.  Bearings are super smooth.  Hubs barely have a mark.  Front rim only has minor paint marks.  Rear rim has some scratches and chips from use.  Spokes and nipples in excellent shape.  Great tension.  Freehub has very little cassette wear, and spins great with no play.
