Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Beautiful fluted seatpost from Suntour's top of the line group in the late 1970's and early 1980's.  In the mid-80's, the Superbe Pro post was released which wasn't fluted and had a printed logo (quite similar to the XC Pro mtb post of the era).  Features a two-bolt clamp similar to the 1st gen Campagnolo Record.

Condition

Near mint very lightly used shape! Perfect for your show bike.  Quite few and light marks, mostly on the back side of the post.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
