Item Condition
Item Condition
I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Produced for one year only, the 1978 Nuovo Record is a beautiful yet flawed design. The 4th hole (the one separated from the others) had a bad habit of catching the chain. This hole was removed for the 1979 model year, and thus we had the gold standard 3 hole Nuovo/Super Record front derailleur we all know. This is almost a requirement for late 1970's show bikes, but should be avoided for bikes you plan to ride a lot.
Condition
Mint very lightly used shape. It's in truly lovely condition that would be fit for the nicest of show bikes. The inner cage plate has a very slight amount of chain rub.
Details
- 28.6mm narrow band clamp
- Model: 0104007 (according to Velobase, though this doesn't fit the Campy model format at all)

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
