Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Some claim Waterford builds the best-riding steel forks, and there is no denying that they make beautiful forks.  This is a 1990's fork, featuring Henry James crown and dropouts.  The ends of the crown lugs are highly scalloped and pointy.  James's crown's are known to be very stiff, and waterford couples this with soft fork leg ends to make a luxurious ride.  Waterford forks are only available with the purchase of a Waterford or Gunnar frame, and thus do not show up on the used market often.  The current equivilant sells for $450 with the purchase of a Waterford frame (22-series Henry James fork)

This one features fender eyelets, a classic cream paint job, and a "High Top" boxed crown with gorgeous cutouts and lugs.

The color is a soft cream, like something you would find on a British road or touring bike.  My camera didn't portray the color exactly though.  The main photo shows the color pretty close to accurate, but is a little less yellow.  The official Waterford color is called "Vanilla Shake"

Condition

Great to excellent lightly used shape.  It's truly been ridden very little, and looks amazing.  There are just a few small paint chips, and almost no scratches.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
