I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Some claim Waterford builds the best-riding steel forks, and there is no denying that they make beautiful forks. This is a 1990's fork, featuring Henry James crown and dropouts. The ends of the crown lugs are highly scalloped and pointy. James's crown's are known to be very stiff, and waterford couples this with soft fork leg ends to make a luxurious ride. Waterford forks are only available with the purchase of a Waterford or Gunnar frame, and thus do not show up on the used market often. The current equivilant sells for $450 with the purchase of a Waterford frame (22-series Henry James fork)
This one features an orange paint job that is VERY similar (or is?) to Eddy Merckx Molteni Orange. It has fender eyelets, making it great for touring bikes.
A little history: Waterford Precision Cycles was formed in 1993, and is run by Richard Schwinn (Great-grandson of Ignaz Schwinn). It is operated out of the former Paramount factory in Waterford, Wisconson.
Condition
I was told this was a take-off fork by the shop owner who sold it to me. It does have installation marks from an axle and brake, but otherwise it appears primarily unridden. There are a few tiny marks from shop wear here and there, and a few marks on the underside of the crown.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
