Description
Description
These grips came off a 1982 Stumpjumper, and are the original grips Mike Sinyard spec'd with his early models. They were made by Tommaselli. VERY difficult to find!
*We also have many other parts that would have come on one of these vintage Stumpjumpers such as a 1982 Golf Putter Stem, Model IV bars, grips, Tommaselli brake levers, Mafac canti's, etc. See "related products" at the bottom of this page. No, we did not commit a MTB capital sin and part out an early Stumpy! These just came to use in random lots.
Condition
Great shape! Foam is not deteriorated, and can be squeezed in all directions without causing damage. No large tears, cuts, or holes. There are a couple partial depth cuts on one of the grips (less than a quarter of the way through the foam). Looks like very lightly used, plenty of life left for riding, and good enough for a show bike!

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
