Description

These cranks are something special, a remnant from before FSA sold out and went corporate.  They are from what I can tell the first version of the FSA Afterburner, and came out around 1995 or 1996.  They were forged out of 7075/T6, and then CNC machined.  The arm faces feature intricate spiral designs and a highly textured FSA logo.  The sides of the arms are deeply fluted.  The spider is unique in that the chainring bolt holes are off center in the arms.  They are VERY beefy and built to be stiff and strong.  They would look killer on a vintage DH bike!  These are truly tough to find, and rarely seen.

Condition

Well loved but in solid used shape.  The finish isn't perfect, but could be brought back to life with a good sand and polish.  They certainly would need that sand/polish to be on a show bike, but they would be perfect for a rider.  NO cracks, gouges, or damage anywhere.  Arm ends are scraped up.  Chainrings show moderate tooth wear, though a few have been bashed by rocks.
