Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This is the ultimiate in leather saddles!  The B17 has been in production with the same design since the 1890's, and is claimed by many (including myself) as the most comfortable saddle ever made.  This one is from the early 1980's.

Condition

Very good used shape.  The leather is super supple and not cracking.  Broken in just the right amount by a 120 pound rider.  No sit bone indents, but plenty soft.  The leather has a nice color patina, and has just a few marks.  The rear corners do have some scuffing though.  Rear badge is in fair shape.  Chrome rails and frame in excellent shape.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
