Description
This rare and clever cog replaces the lockring on a standard 7 speed Shimano Hyperglide cassette. It functions as both the lockring and an 8th cog! It retains the same spacing as a 7 speed cassette and will absolutely work on friction drivetrains. It will work on some 8 speed shifters, as the spacing was close enough (though not all, no promises). 7 speed thumb shifters have a little extra room after the 7th gear click, and this should work fine for the 8th.
Condition
Near mint lightly used condition. There's no noticeable tooth wear.
