Titan Sport Handlebar: 27mm Clamp, 37mm Wide Belgian 1960's

Titan was a high end Belgian manufacturer of handlebars and stems from the 1930's through the late 1970's.  They are famous for developing the standard road drop bar shape, which is now referred to as the "Maes bend".  These were stock parts on early 1960's Paramount's, and were found on many English, Italian, and American bars throughout those decades (often as upgrades)

This one came off my 1965 Schwinn Paramount townie (stem's too nice for a townie!).  It has a roughly 27mm bar clamp diameter, with the included shoulder/shim piece and roughly 23.5mm without.  It requires a Titan stem, like this Titan Luxe it came paired with (which is also for sale).  The bars have almost zero flare outward, and are very comfortable.  Quite narrow at 37cm (c-c)

Condition

Bars are straight and solid, but a bit rough cosmetically.  It appears the bars were removed from the stem a bit roughly at some point in the last 40 years, and were scratched.
