Description

This is a black chrome version of the Switchblade fork, which is a design licensed from Keith Bontrager.  This one has a Tange Prestige MTB Product of Japan decal on each side.  Stylish straight blades along with the easily recognizable 4 bolt polished aluminum crown make this a great fork for your very late 1980's into mid 1990's mountain bike or even more modern bikes.  I believe this is a later one, due to the polished crown with no decals plus the ano finish with Prestige logos (if you have more info on timeline, I would love to see it!)

Condition

Excellent to near mint lightly used shape. The anodizing has microscratching throughout, which isn't as bad in person as it is in the closeup photos, as the light really exaggerates the marks.  The crown is close to perfect.  The only real wear is a really thin/light scuff up the lower outside edge of the non driveside leg, visible in the rear view photo.    Really clean overall, good enough for even some patina show bikes.
