Description

The Stronglight 99 was the successor of the popular 49D crank.  The 99 bis model came with factory drilled chainrings, like this one.  It has a smaller 86mm BCD, that's shared with the SR Apex crank.  It's set up as a triple, using Stronglight extra tall chainring bolts and spacers.  Thus, it is very popular with the touring crowd.  The 86mm BCD is shared only with the SR Apex 5 Super Touring.

*Pedal threads are FRENCH. They require French threaded pedals, OR you can tap them out to accept English 9/16" pedals. Any good local bike shop can do this for you for $10-$20.

Condition

Great used shape.  Chainrings show very little tooth wear.  The arms and rings only have a few very minor marks.  Arm ends are a bit scratched up.  Tapers and threads in great shape.
