Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

These fast tires were one of the most popular tires in the 1990's UK XC race scene due to their incredible mud shedding abilties. This particular version, the 1st gen in 1.5" had rather widely spaced blocky knobs that the chud just fell right off of. Wonderful choice of rideable tires for any early mountain bike!

Condition

Barely used and very supple with no cracking or significant dryness! The tread on these are some of the cleanest I've seen on vintage tires that have been used. Both the tread and sidewalls are extremely supple and flexible, almost as if they're not even vintage. These have slight bits of molding nipples left indicating very few miles. There are about 4 or 5 edge knobs that have pieces of them torn off. The rest of the knobs are perfect. *these are still 30-40 year old rubber and should be ridden EXTREMELY carefully.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
