Description

The Super LJ was considered by many the best vintage derailleur of all time.  It was a welcome reprive from Simplex's disappointing plastic derailleurs, and shifted even better than Campagnolo!  This one is a model A500, identified by the beefy body/clamp and the gold face.  It's stamped Super LJ on the side.

This model is highly sought after by randonneur's and constructeurs for use on Alex Singer bikes, as well as and vintage lightweight racing bikes.  They came stock on many early Rivendell bikes.

Condition

Mint very lightly used shape.  Practically blemish free.  Just a bit of light chain wear on the inner cage.
