Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This 1971-1974 version of the Simplex Criterium Prestige is among the prettier of them, identified by it's bold polished faceplate and red dot plugs in the pivot bolts.  It is not only pretty, but a very smooth shifter!  It is the same geometry as the SLJ derailleur, just with black derlin plastic as the pivot bolt housings and slightly different aesthetics.

Condition

Near mint lightly used shape!  All original hardware and pulleys.  No scrapes or cracks.  Pulleys show almost no use.  Faceplate looks great with just a few finish wear spots.  Show bike worthy for most!

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
