Description

Great headset for vintage mountain bike restorations!  Includes all 4 ring gaskets for the sealed bearings.

Condition

Very good used condition.  Cosmetically it looks nice with very few marks except for some anodizing wear to the right of the XTR logo on the cups.  The bottom side of the crown race has a chipped edge, which will be against the crown and does NOT affect fit or function.  The race surface has the beginning of pitting.  I cannot feel the pits running a fine pick over them, and it spun super smoothly when installed.  But you can see the discoloration of the bearings being tightened too much for probably a very short time.  Thus the low price
