Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

1st generation XTR!  The M900 series was released in 1992, and was spec'd on many of the uber high dollar mountain bikes of the early 90's.  It has become a rather rare group, and is plain gorgeous.

Condition: Perfect functioning condition, though it has some light scratches.  The band has minimal scratches, the cage has some very light surface scratches.  Slight rust on one of the limit screws.  There is only very minor cage wear, indicating light use.  Very clean.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
