I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
The crankset that helped kill off the boutique CNC component builders of the 1990's, the boring but indestructible XTR M952 is the top choice for performance oriented retro mountain bikes and even modern bikes. If you need the bling, get a Kooka, Cook Brothers, or Topline cran. But if you desire a lightweight crank with ultimate stiffness that you simply can't break, this is your crank.
Condition
Very good to great used shape. This one has good rings and not too bad for wear except for those ugly heel rub marks. Obviously not the prettiest with the heel rub, but has lots of life left. No bashed up or shark toothed teeth, which should mesh ok with a new chain.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
