Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This fluted version is one of the finest seatposts of the early to mid 1980's.  The design is somewhat close to the Campy Super Record fluted seatpost.  Lovely arched Dura Ace EX logo above the flutes, and a pearly finish.

Condition:

Excellent to near mint lightly used shape.  Everything from about 2 inches above the minimum insertion line barely has a mark.  There's a long streak of insertion marks on the front edge of the post, but otherwise pretty minimal marks anywhere.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
