Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Highly sought after 8 speed STI!  These have a few cosmetic issues (see below), but shift as good as new.  Super positive shifts, absolutely zero hesitation.  It's rare to find them shifting this well.  This is only for use with Dura Ace RD-7400 / RD-7401 / RD-7403 / RD-7410 rear derailleurs.

Condition:

Mechanical condition is perfect.  Lever blades are near perfect.  Right face plate near perfect, left has a small dent and a couple light scratches.  The chrome edge pieces have had some trauma, and are very rough on the side edges (see pics).  Unsure what could have caused this and not damaged the lever blades.  Hoods overall in great shape, though one hood has a small wear spot and tiny hole on the "Dura Ace" logo.

Details:

  • Rear shifter: 8 speed
  • Front shifter: For double cranks
  • Compatible with any Dura Ace 7400 rear derailleur.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
