Description

This rare saddle is the lightest version of the Turbo ever made, at 256 grams.  It features alloy rails and a genuine smooth leather cover.  This model was the last version of the Hinault Turbo, and was made from the mid 1980's to early 1990's (this one is dated 1986).  

This saddle was likely red originally, or perhaps honey brown.  The SLG in particular seems to fade into lovely organic-looking marbled colors.  This one isn't as marbled as some, though the color varies throughout.  It's a one of a kind designed by nature herself, and there's not another one like it on the planet.  As for how this happened, it's a mystery of the ethers.  

Condition

Near mint or better! Low miles, zero scuffs!  Decals are very close to perfect.  Leather is supple with no scuffs/scrapes/tears.  The rear end does have some spots that are darkened and marbled heavier than elsewhere.  Shell and rails are clean, underside of cover isn't coming up anywhere.  Show bike worthy, perfect for your L'Eroica ride!
