Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Gorgeous 1980's Concor saddle.  The "Profil" version was the first (and only?) "aero" saddle, with the addition of the delta shaped underside with a fin.  This was the choice saddle of many top racers throughout the 70's and 80's, and is a great fit for any vintage road bike.  The cover is a brown suede, which has been conditioned with Snow Seal which gives it the darker look.  If you allow this to wear off without reapplying, it will be a medium-dark brown.

Condition:

Great condition.  The cover overall is in great shape, with just a bit of wear on the rear edge.  Leather is very soft.

Details:

  • Genuine brown suede leather
  • Steel rails

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
