Salsa Moto F12 High Rise Roller Stem: 1" Quill - 120mm x 25.4mm - 20D - Early Pepper Decal (Near Mint+)

Rare vintage 1980's to early 1990's Salsa roller stem!  It one features a cantilever cable roller required for retro mountain bikes, meaning you won't need a separate cable stop.  These are highly sought after for their radical looks and awesome performance!  The 20 degree (?) rise makes this fitting for dirt drops (though the official Salsa Dirt drop stem was the P10), swept back bars such as the On One Midge, Moustache, or Jones bar, or getting the bars higher on a long and low retro mtb.

The pepper decal was used on early Moto stems, in the late 1980's and as early as 1991—though they were likely sold a few years later until stock ran out. Starting in the 1992 catalog, Moto stems had the "Salsa" name on the side in white

Near mint or better lightly used shape. Only very minor wear, nothing worth noting. Show bike worthy
