Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

The Sachs Quartz was marketed as a top shelf touring or road derailleur, and is very tough to find.  Those who use them say they're worlds better than the Shimano XT or Ultegra they often replaced with one.  This example has upgraded Shimano sealed bearing pulleys from a Dura Ace derailleur.

Condition

Near mint, lightly used shape.  There are a few minor marks on the body, but overall all it shows little signs of use.  The pulleys look and feel new.  Spring and pivots are tight.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
