Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This cool brifter was released in the 1990's by French bicycle company Sachs.  If you like the feel of Campy shifters but don't want to upgrade your entire bike to Campagnolo, this is the shifter for you!  The shifter is a re-badged Campagnolo Chorus 8 speed brifter, with different indexing gears to make it compatible with Shimano derailleurs/cassettes, and Sachs models Like This One.  It can also be upgraded to campagnolo 9 speed by switching the indexing gears.

This shifter is compatible with:

  • Shimano 6/7/8 speed Shimano or Sachs derailleurs
  • Shimano HG or Sachs 8 speed freewheels or cassettes

This shifter is NOT compatible with:

  • Campagnolo derailleurs or cassettes

Condition:

Excellent lightly used condition, hardly a scratch.  Shifting feels perfect.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
