I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This crank was actually owned and raced by the legend herself, Mountain Bike Hall of Famer Ruthie Matthes! I acquired it from a Durango collector, who is Ruthie's neighbor and personal friend. Matthes is famous for her numerous olympic, national, and world championship wins with Team Ritchey, Trek, and Powerbar. Renowned as one of the best mountain bikers of all time. Awesome holiday gift for your cycling historian!
Condition
Ruthie's obviously ridden the hell out of the arms, but the rings are likely not the first set of rings Ruthie used on these as they're still in decent shape. Arms are structurally in good shape with plenty of cosmetic wear. Small and mid rings have some life left, though the big ring has a few pointy teeth and may or may not match up with a new chain well.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
