I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This rare Rossin RLX 5775 model from the late 1980's was Rossin's 2nd from top of the line, behind the Ghibli. These were the only two models in Rossin's 1988 catalog to feature C-Record & Columbus SLX (the 63cm got stiffer SPX). It is a special version with the wild Dupont Systems paint scheme featuring hand painted dot-matrix cube shapes in vibrant shades of pink and red. These cubes are painted thick, and are slightly raised from the frame enough that you can feel. They look 3-dimensional! It is a lugged frame with aero features such as delta shaped chainstay bridge, wild extended BB shell, and internal cable routing for brake & shift. It's a serious racing machine with style, for the tall riders among us.
Condition
Near mint condition, very few miles ridden. The paint is glossy, deep, and free of general wear from miles ridden. As it sits it passes for NOS from maybe 3 feet away. A few blemishes to mention, with unknown causes. 1) head tube has a 2mm chip and 1.5" long darker white spot just to the drive side of the "R", it almost looks like paint drops of a slightly different color. 2) some more white streaks just above the Dupont decal on seat tube, and on one of the head lug points. Section of grey dirty looking spots on front of seat tube. paint chips on the front/back of crown, from race removal tools. Will be mostly hidden once brake installed. It's not perfect, but overall it's close to show bike condition

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
