Description

Rare rear wheel for your 1990's Ritchey P-22, P-23, Everest, Ultra, etc.  The Vantage Expert was Ritchey's top consumer level rim designed for XC and trail use, just below the competition only Vantage Comp (later named Vantage Pro WCS).  The rim weighs just 450 grams, and has a lovey polished finish.

Condition

Probably a new old stock take off, the rims show zero brake pad marks but there is a small hop in the rim and the bearings are just slightly dry sounding.  Some light cosmetic shop wear (mostly a touch of grime on the spokes and weird scratching on the braking surface, but between the lack of brake pad marks and cassette marks it looks like it has seen zero actual use.  Perhaps this wheel was built by somebody not that experienced and set aside when they couldn't get it true? Retension and true this wheel and you have a great fresh wheel!
