I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This neat decoration is a model of a late 1800's or early 1900's Penny Farthing bicycle. These monsterous machines were the first wheeled devices to be called a "bicycle". They had numerous nicknames, including Ordinary, High Wheeler, and Bone Shaker. They pre-dated the "safety bicycle", and were inherently dangerous to ride. Mark Twain has a famous quote he coined after he took lessons to ride one; "Ride a bicycle. You won't regret it, if you live"
This model is self standing and stationary. Great for your mantle or bike shelf!

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
