Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

These rare straps were spec'd as stock equipment on the bikes Rene Herse and Alex Singer used in the 50's and 60's!  This set is in a lovely deep turquoise, that the early French constructeurs liked to paint in.  It's pretty close in color to Bianchi's Celeste, but a couple shades darker.  These pop up on fleabay occasionally, but only in red.

Condition

Great used shape.  Leather is supple, flexible, and not deteriorating or cracking!  Clamps have just a bit of patina on them and operate smoothly.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
