Description

Wolbler bought Super Champion in 1978, making these likely a late 70's to mid 80's vintage.  The Gentleman 81 was a fairly high end racing and light touring model, designed for "narrow" tires according to the catalog.  Some claim they were the best clinchers of the era.  These are the double eyelet version, for supreme durability.  

Condition

New old stock, no wrappers.  These were never laced, but have some shop wear in the form of random scratches and price tag residue (that's what you see on the joint in the first pic).
