I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
These vintage DIA-COMPE Spicy Road cable crimps were commonly found stock on high end classic road bicycles and mountain bikes of the 1970's and 1980's. They have a thicker metal than flimsy modern crimps, and they're much shorter at 7.3mm (modern crimps are 10-12mm usually). They do not have the lip at the end that modern crimps have. Works for both shift and brake cables of most diameters.
Note: DIA-COMPE still produces cable crimps under the name Spicy Road, but these current production ones are longer and have a lip.
They look really clean next to your vintage brakes, and are great for period correct restorations.
*All of these catalogs came from a closed Schwinn dealer called Kings Cyclery in Casper, Wyoming that I bought out. Everything was ordered directly from the Schwinn factory.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
