Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Top quality tap designed for use with the VAR 380 (or it's modern equivilant the CD-38200) & 40 BB Tapping Set to tap Italian 70mm threaded bottom bracket shells. This right hand threaded tap is used on both sides of the bike, as both sides of the Italian standard are right-hand threaded. You can just use one tap individually on each side, or get one for both sides of the tap handle to do together.

Condition

Appears new old stock and unused (can't prove it, but it looks that way).  I acquired this from a bike shop that closed recently.  Taps appear sharp, but they have not been tested.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
