Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Here's a bulk lot of eight vintage road bike tires, at $10 each!  All are 700c except one NOS Avocet 27" tire. Vast majority are steel beed, with a couple folding bead (indicated folding below).  Some are NOS, some are lightly used with lots of life left.  All treads/sidewalls are supple with no dry rot/cracking.  All of the Avocet tires have beads that crackle when they are flexed, but plenty rideable (their sidewalls and treads are very supple and flexible though).

These were all owned by a long time bike shop owner, who took VERY good care of all of his gear.  These are no exception!  All tires appear very usable, and treads have 80% or better life left.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
