This beautiful chainring guard was made from a NOS outer cyclotouriste chainring by Norther Cycles. The teeth were cut off, the outer ring was precisely drilled, and the outer side was given an almost mirror-like polish. This is ideal for any bike that doesn't need a large ring. Attach a middle and/or inner ring and this saves your pant legs from the chain while making your bike SO much dreamier. This is a one of a kind professionally made piece!
It's outer ring will adequately cover a 38t, 39t, or 40t inner ring as well as any size granny you want. It might be okay for a 41t, but that would probably be pushing it.
