I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
You don't find these in new condition anymore! The 1st generation Deore was produced from 1987-1988, and came on many mid-range mountain bikes. Ideal to use as on a period correct retro mtb. It may have even been stock equipment on your bike! It was marketed as a 6 speed derailleur, but will work great with 7 or 8 speed as well.
Condition: New Old Stock. Came to us in a late 80's XT box, never mounted. Practically perfect, just a few minor scratches from shop wear.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
