Description
This saddle is so rad the UCI banned it from competition! The Supercorsa Concor Sprint pista / TT saddle was released in the early 1980's and ran into the mid 80's, and promised to give the cyclist a platform for their lumbar region to push against and produce more power.
This one appears to be an early model. Most of these saddles have a bold dayglo green plastic rear end (around the Concor decal). This one retains the standard Supercorsa rear end, and is covered in leather.
The buffalo leather cover is exquisite. The leather resembles the rugged animal it came from, with tough, hardened, cracked skin. It has a pattern of hash marks and micro stripes, and feels luxurious and durable. It is a very dark brown, which almost looks black. This leather was mostly only available on the Sprint.
Condition
Mint new old stock condition! This was installed on a show bike but never ridden, and has zero wear aside from the slightest installation marks on the rails. As usual with these, the decals are a bit blurred in spots but fully intact. The leather is pristine, as is the rear badge
